Location

Salto del Negro is a small hamlet inland of the Costa del Sol. The hamlet is surrounded by citrus and avocado plantations on the banks of the river running through it. There is a small shop and daily deliveries of fresh fish, meat and vegetables are made. Salto del Negro is a perfect place as a base for day-trips into the countryside around about. Cordoba, Granada or Seville are easily reached from here. The nearest village, Benamargosa, is only 2 kilometres away, where there are various bars, restaurants and banks, a health centre and municipal pool. The coast at Torre del Mar is 20 minutes drive and the airport at Malaga an hour.

The House

This newly built house is in a quiet small street. You enter the property via a terrace with a sitting area. There is a spacious, light filled sitting room with open kitchen and dining area. From here there is an exit to a large balcony with views across the river bed. At this level there is a separate WC. A staircase next to the entrance leads up to the first floor. Here there is a corridor leading to the bathroom with bath and shower, and two double bedrooms. The bedroom overlooking the street has a small balcony with views across the village. The other bedroom has access to a large sunny roof terrace, also with beautiful views out to the river bed and citrus and avocado plantations.
