Location
This country house is located in the hills of the Axarquia above the village of Benamargosa. On a small hillside, the house benefits from wonderful views across the Costa del Sol, and is to be found in an out of the way place amongst olive and almond trees. This is an ideal place for a quiet holiday, even though you are only 30 minutes away from the coast and all its entertainment and sporting amenities. Day trips to the cultural cities of Granada, Córdoba and Seville are possible from here. In Benamargosa village, only 1 km from the house, there are various shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets as well as banks and an summer opening public swimming pool. The international airport at Málaga is an hours drive.
The house
The property is reached via a dirt track in good condition. To the front of the house is a sun terrace with wonderful views to the coast. You enter into the living room through the front door, which has a double sofa bed and a wood burning stove. Beyond lie the kitchen and the dining area. From this central area you also reach a beautiful spacious double bedroom, and a hallway which leads to the second double bedroom and the large, attractive bathroom. A back door opens onto a further terrace. The old house has been completely restored whilst retaining rustic details. It is a comfortable place with a nice atmosphere for a relaxing stay.
