Comares: Large house walking distance from the village

Location

Comares is known as the 'Balcony of the Axarquia' due to its location on the crest of a hill some 700 metres above sea level. There are great views of the hills and Mediterranean. It´s a typical white village, with flower bedecked houses spilling onto one another. There are banks, various restaurants and bars, hotels and shops in the village. The coast is some 40 minutes distant by car, and the international airport at Málaga is about an hour away.

The pool

Casa Irene is a big modern family house located close to a well known restaurant and the public swimming pool. The house is built on a slope so the main door accesses the upper floor of the property. The upper floor comprises of a sitting-room, a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, a dining room with balcony, one double bedroom, two single bedrooms and a bathroom with a full length bath. Stairs lead down to a cosy living-room with a wood burning stove. Next to this living-room is a big double bedroom. From the living-room a stairwell accesses a further large multifunctional room, which could be used as a garage, storeroom or playroom. Next to this room there is a second bathroom and a utility room. A big door gives access to the garden and the large sunny terrace below where the pool is located.
