Location

Benamargosa is some twenty minutes from the coast, in the river valley of the same name. The area remains green, even in the height of summer, due to the many plantations of avocado and mango trees. There are restaurants and bars in the village, as well as two supermarkets and various other small shops. There is a summer opening swimming pool located in a pretty park. Although near the coast, you are away from the crowds here. Málaga airport is reachable in an hour by car.
