Property
This is a nice, typical Andalusian farmhouse, in a group of other houses. It needs complete renovation and is currently not habitable. There are great possibilities as it has two floors and a nice piece of flattish land outside. In its current state you enter directly into the property via the first floor, where there is a sitting room with an open fireplace. Beyond to the left there is a bedroom, and to the right the kitchen, also with an open fire, and an exit to a small cellar. At ground floor level there are other rooms which have served as stables in the past, but which can be converted into habitable space. The farmhouse still has many rustic details such as attractive painted tiles on the floors, still in reasonable condition, and the old traditional fireplace. By retaining some of these details you can retain the Andalucian charm of the property. There are some very old, mature olive trees on the plot, and a wonderful eucalyptus tree in front of the house which gives very welcome shade in the summer months. There are also wonderful views. The access is via a partly surfaced road with the last 50 meters by a footpath.

Mazmullar is some fifteen minutes from the village of Comares, just on the edge of the Montes de Malaga national park. Comares has everything you might need on a day to day basis, with various hotels, restaurants, banks and a summer opening municipal pool. It´s a forty-five minute drive to Velez-Málaga and the coast at Torre del Mar
