Location
This Cortijo is located in Mazmullar, some 15 minutes drive from the village of Comares. The houses around about lay nestled into the hillside amongst olive and almond trees, and some pines. The area stays green and fresh even in the height of summer. In the village there are various shops, bars and restaurants as well as banks and an open air swimming pool. Málaga city is about an hour away.
Property
The farmhouse is reached via a dirt track in good condition. You pass an old walled area, which currently serves as a chicken run, as you walk up to the house. The property consists of the main house and an attached, separate barn. The main house has, on the ground floor, a sitting room with open fireplace, a bathroom and another room which has a staircase leading up to the first floor. At first floor level there are three further rooms, one of which leads into another.
Remarks
The attached barn could be converted into independent studio accommodation, or incorporated into the main house. The well maintained 6,000m² plot is planted with olives. There is sufficient space available for a vegetable garden and/or a swimming pool (subject to the relevant permit).
