Periana:
Pretty village house with rustic features

Location

Mondron is a small village belonging to the municipality of Periana. To the north are the mountains of the Sierra de Alhama, whilst to the south the landscape levels out towards the man made lake at La Viñuela. Periana is famous for its olive oil and peach production. In Mondron there are small bars and restaurants, as well as shops which have all day to day necessities. Periana is about ten minutes away and the coast and the busy towns of Velez-Málaga and Torre del Mar about forty-five minutes.

The house is to be found in a peaceful street. You enter through the front door into the sitting room which has an open fireplace. Beyond are one bedroom and the fully fitted kitchen. From here you reach a nice dining area and the bathroom. On the first floor are two further bedrooms and a south facing roof terrace. The entire house has been lovingly restored and retains many traditional rustic features - the ceilings have wooden beams and the floors are tiled with traditional terracotta tiles.
